All in One Calculator (by ShellTechnos)

Overview

This app is designed to work primarily on your device, and we aim to collect as little information as possible. There is no login and no personal account. The one exception is the optional Split Expenses feature, which syncs your shared groups to the cloud using an anonymous, random-ID account (see “Split Expenses” below). We do not sell your data.

Information we collect

For its features, the app stores your saved calculations (History), favourites and preferences (theme, default currency, and the record that you accepted these documents) only on your device. The app does not build a profile of you from your calculations. Separately, the ads shown in the app involve limited data collected by our ad partner (Google), described under “Advertising” below, and the optional Split Expenses feature stores group data in the cloud, described next.

Split Expenses (collaborative groups)

The optional Split Expenses feature is the one part of the app that stores data off your device. When you use it, your group content — the group name, the member names you type, and each expense (description, amount, who paid and how it is split) — is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) so it can sync in real time between the phones of everyone in the group. An anonymous account identifier (a random ID) is created for you; we do not collect your name, email, phone number or any profile. Only members of a group can see that group, and data is sent over an encrypted connection. We do not sell it or use it for advertising; Google processes it as our service provider. You can delete all of it anytime from Settings → Data & privacy → Delete my data (also in the Split Expenses menu), which removes your groups and anonymous account. Member names are free text you enter, so please use first names or nicknames and do not enter other people's sensitive information.

Support tickets

If you use “Submit a Ticket”, the app sends the information you enter — your name, email address and message, plus your app version, device model and Android version, and any file you attach — over a secure connection to our support system (Atlassian Jira) so we can respond. This is sent only when you tap Submit.

Crash reports

If the app closes unexpectedly, a crash report (error details, app version and basic device model/OS version) is saved on your device. On the next launch you may choose to attach and send it with a support ticket to help us fix the problem. It is never sent automatically, and you can decline.

On-device storage and retention

Saved history, settings and any crash report remain in the app's private storage on your device and are not uploaded to us. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data from Android settings, permanently removes them.

Network use

The app connects to the internet to show live currency and gold/silver rates, to fetch the current list of sponsor banners, and to serve ads via Google AdMob. As with any internet request, the receiving servers may log standard technical data such as your IP address.

Advertising

The app shows ads. Banner ads are served by Google AdMob, which may access and process your device's Advertising ID and related device/usage data to serve and measure ads, and shares this with Google (see Google's Privacy Policy and “How Google uses data”). We also show direct sponsor banners, which are contextual (non-personalised) and do not use your Advertising ID. Where required by law, you will be asked to consent before personalised ads are shown. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.

Permissions

The app requests Internet and network-state access (for live rates, sponsor content and ads) and the Advertising ID permission (used by AdMob for ads). It does not request contacts, location, camera, or similar sensitive permissions.

Third-party services

“Rate the App” and “Share the App” open the Google Play Store; ads are provided by Google AdMob; support tickets are handled through Atlassian Jira; and live rates come from third-party data providers. Your use of these services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Bank names and logos

Bank and financial-institution names and logos shown in the app are the trademarks and property of their respective owners, displayed only to help you identify and select an institution inside the calculators. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these institutions, and we do not share any of your information with them. The bank you select is stored only on your device as part of your saved calculation.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

Your choices

Because data stays on your device, you remain in control: clear your History from within the app, or clear all app data / uninstall to remove everything. For questions, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version within the app, and you may be asked to review the documents again.
